The Women's Leadership Board's intention is to continue to advance women leaders by creating strategic alliances with leading corporations who authentically share the same intention.
The Women's Leadership Board at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government has recently opened its membership to leading corporations with a demonstrated commitment to advancing women. We are inviting corporations who have implemented intelligent solutions to address the advancement and retention of women, and are committed to their corporate progress. We believe that such corporations would welcome a collaborative alliance with the WLB to further their gender intelligence and accelerate its progress. Together, we will create and sponsor groundbreaking gender research and develop strategies that address a wide range of issues relevant to women in the United States and throughout the world.
As a corporate member of the Women's Leadership Board, you will accelerate your corporation's commitment to the advancement and retention of women. Your corporation will have opportunities to participate in the renowned Harvard Executive Education Courses. You will collaborate with a distinguished group of global women leaders who are passionate about giving back to their corporations, societies and a future generation of women leaders. Corporate members are participants in the work of the WLB at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and around the world focusing on study and research in all aspects of women's leadership. You will learn about the latest critical Harvard University research related to women leaders in the workplace focused on the following important areas for advancement and retention of women:
- Attracting and retaining top female talent
- Women in leadership
- Succession planning and talent management
- Creating culture of inclusiveness
- Current gender issues in the workplace
- Work-life issues and initiatives
Corporate members will have the opportunity to work with the WLB to design tailored activities, on the Harvard Kennedy School campus and around the world, relevant to your corporation's strategic priorities in advancing women leaders. You will also network with other extraordinary, high-profile WLB global members during biannual meetings generally held on Harvard University's campus or during regional meetings held in Washington D.C., at a designated international site and on the East and West coasts. You can join the WLB's Leadership Delegations in such countries as South Africa, Egypt, Liberia, Chile and China as the delegates delve into focused study of specific challenges that women face in their homelands and meet global women leaders, Presidents, Prime Ministers and other women policy makers. Corporate members also receive exclusive targeted opportunities to attend invitation-only seminars and presentations on Harvard Kennedy School's Cambridge, Massachusetts campus, as well as other Harvard Kennedy School activities around the world.
