Experience: In her post at Ernst & Young, Jan Babiak is responsible for related strategy and board level coordination with government offices, regulatory bodies, and investors as well as the teams who deliver these services to clients in more than 130 countries. Previously, she held positions leading the regulatory and public policy interest of Ernst and Young in 38 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India that followed her role as leader of IT security, program management, and assurance services. Babiak chairs Ernst and Young's global climate change services advisory board. She is also a board member of the prestigious Committee of 200 and the CBI's First Women of Technology. She is frequently asked for media commentary on climate change, sustainable business, governance, regulation, IT, and diversity in the workplace including interviews with the FT, BBC, CNN, ITV, The Times of London, Reuters, and Computing. She holds a BBA in accounting, MBA in organizational management, and is a CPA. She is also a UK chartered accountant (CA). Additionally, she has international IT qualifications as a certified information systems auditor (CISA) and certified information security manager (CISM).
