Experience: Linda Wertheimer Hart is vice chair, president, and CEO of Hart Group, Inc., a diversified group of companies involved in insulation manufacturing and investments, and chair of Imation Corp. (NYSE: IMN), a global technology company focused on storing, protecting and connecting a digital world. Hart is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and SMU School of Law. Formerly in private practice in Dallas, she also served as an outside consultant to the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC and as a visiting professor at Stanford Law School. Hart is a trustee and member of the executive committee of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), former chair and current ex officio member of the Legal Advisory Committee to the New York Stock Exchange, and serves on a variety of other corporate and civic boards, including the executive boards of SMU's Dedman School of Law and Cox School of Business. Past chair of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Association, Hart has been an active leader in the Dallas Citizens Council, the Dallas Forum, the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Dallas Opera, the Texas National Research Laboratory Commission, the International Women's Forum Leadership Foundation, World Affairs Council of DFW, and the Dallas Women's Foundation. She is a member of the Committee of 200 and is past president of the International Women's Forum, Dallas.
