Experience: Patricia Owings Kouba is the founder and CEO of Literati, LLC, a hospitality company that prioritizes sustainable products and biodynamic foods. As CEO she is responsible for the direction of the strategic planning, purchasing, marketing, product placement, management, and financial viability. She is the person to whom the vice president and managers are responsible. Prior to 2000, Kouba served as CEO of Summit Media Group, an outdoor advertising company which she co-founded. In her position at Summit, she was responsible for marketing, strategic planning and communications, and currently remains as a principal and partner in that corporation. As an entrepreneur with three decades of experience, Kouba actively oversees employee communications, media, and community relations and strategic planning for an additional group of privately owned companies. She is active in local, national, and global outreach programs that benefit people at risk. Most recently she served as president of the board of The Colleagues of Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor's of arts degree in English literature from the University of California at Los Angeles.
