Experience: Sarah "Sally" Walker Guthrie is the Chair of the Board of J.T. Walker Industries, a holding company based in Clearwater, Florida. J.T. Walker Industries is a vertically integrated manufacturer of products for the building industry. The company has over 30 facilities in the United States as well as a presence in Mexico and China. As Chair, Guthrie has overall responsibility for the entire organization, with a particular emphasis on administrative matters. She is also involved in sustainable, heritage cattle ranching. Guthrie has served as chair of the Pinellas County Historical Commission and on the boards of directors of Florida Blood Services and the Morton Plant Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the Committee of 200 and the Society of International Business Fellows. Guthrie graduated from Agnes Scott College and holds a master's degree from Emory University. She has completed executive education courses at Harvard Business School as well as the Graduate School of Business at Stanford. She was also a student of the late James Beard in New York.
