Experience: Sharon Allen is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, and is responsible for the governance of an organization with more than $8 billion in annual revenues. She also oversees the firm’s relationships with a number of major multinational clients. Elected US board chairman in 2003, Allen is also a member of the Global Board of Directors of Deloitte Touche Thomatsu. She currently serves on the President’s Export Council and is a member of the Women’s Leadership Board at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Allen has more than 30 years of audit and consulting experience, and is a frequent speaker on governance and workplace issues. She was recently named by Forbes Magazine as one of the “100 most powerful women in the world.” Allen is involved in numerous civic organizations and holds an honorary doctorate from her alma mater, the University of Idaho.
