Experience: Yanchun “Lily” Li is one of the founders of American Oriental Bioengineering Inc. and has served as chief financial officer since May 2007. Prior to this appointment, she was the acting chief financial officer since May 2002, chief operating officer and secretary of the board since October 2003, and a member of the board since 2002. Before joining AOB, Li worked for China Ruida Food Limited Company and successfully established the Ruida brand as the number one brand in the instant frozen food industry in China. Li joined Harbin Three Happiness in 1994 as the manager of marketing and sales. Under her leadership, the Three Happiness brand was later awarded the “Top Ten Well-known Brands in China.” With over 16 years of experience in the China’s consumer and healthcare industry, Li commands in-depth understanding of economic and market environments and possesses unique insights on operating models. As the chairperson of the board of Lingfeng Pharmaceuticals, she played a key role in establishing “Jinji” brand as the leading brand in women’s healthcare in China. Li received her BA in English from Beijing University of Industry and Commerce in 1993 and her EMBA from Preston University in 2005. Li also graduate from the OPM program from Harvard Business School in 2008. Li was the recipient of “Golden Award in Marketing” in 2005. Li was elected to “World Chinese Who’s Who” in 2007. She currently is the director of China Pharmaceutical Enterprise Management Association. In 2009, Li was elected as the Top Ten Outstanding Managers in Healthcare Industry. Li was elected as the Image Ambassador for the 3rd Annual Women and Children Health Conference in 2010.
