Roxanne Mankin Cason named by Women’s eNews to be one of 2009’s “21 Leaders for the 21st Century”

Marilyn Barrett Receives the Lenny Somberg Award at Annual Dinner Gala for Saban Free Clinic

Marilyn Barrett, a partner in the Tax Group, was presented with the 2008 Lenny Somberg Award by the Friends of the Saban Free Clinic (formerly known as the Los Angeles Free Clinic) at the Clinic's annual dinner gala on November 24, 2008 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

“I am deeply touched to have been chosen for this honor,” said Marilyn Barrett. “I am proud to have helped to fulfill the Clinic’s distinguished mission ‘to provide dependable and affordable quality health care and human services in a caring environment for the underserved and those who are most vulnerable'.”

The Lenny Somberg Award is given each year to a person who embodies the courageous vision, leadership and spirit of the Clinic’s former Executive Director Lenny Somberg, who guided the Clinic in the early 1970s. Marilyn's involvement with the Clinic includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Clinic Board, President of the Board, member of the Executive Committee, and Chair of the Audit Committee. Marilyn was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Saban Free Clinic.

Barbara Annis Selected as Board Chair

Barbara Annis has been selected as Board Chair of the HKS Women's Leadership Board for 2009-2011.  She will begin her term starting July 1, 2009.
